Lee Jong-wook (born 1945) is a South Korean entrepreneur, best known as the founder of Daewoong Pharmaceuticals.

He was born in 1945 in Seoul, South Korea and graduated from Seoul National University in 1969.

After graduating, he began working as a researcher at a pharmaceutical company and soon became the head of research and development.

In 1979, he founded Daewoong Pharmaceuticals, which specializes in the production of traditional Korean medicines.

Under his leadership, Daewoong has become one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in South Korea.

Lee has been recognized as a leader in the pharmaceutical industry, receiving numerous awards and accolades.

He has also been a strong advocate for the development of traditional Korean medicines and has helped to preserve their cultural heritage.
