Kim Young-gap (1945) is a Korean entrepreneur and founder of the Hanjin Group.

He was born in 1945 in Seoul, South Korea, and is a graduate of Seoul National University.

He began his career as a banker at a local bank in 1972, and later founded the Hanjin Group in 1977.

He has overseen the growth of the Hanjin Group, which has become one of the largest conglomerates in South Korea, with interests in airlines, shipping, construction, and finance.

Kim Young-gap has been involved in numerous philanthropic activities, providing assistance to those in need.

He is also a member of the South Korean National Assembly and has served on the Executive Committee of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development.
