Kim Hyun-chong (born 1943) is a South Korean entrepreneur and the founder of Nongshim, a leading Korean food and beverage company.

He graduated from the prestigious Seoul National University in 1965 with a degree in business administration.

After graduation, he worked as an executive at a trading company before founding Nongshim in 1965.

Initially, Nongshim focused on producing instant noodles and ramen, but has since expanded to include a wide variety of food products.

Kim Hyun-chong's business acumen has been credited with turning Nongshim into a global brand, with products sold in over 70 countries.

In addition to his business success, Kim Hyun-chong has been an active philanthropist, donating to causes such as education and medical research.

He was awarded the Order of Industrial Service Merit, one of the highest honors a South Korean entrepreneur can receive.
